Ian Harrowell was with Walt Disney Animation Australia for 17 years in a number of roles including Director of Animation for a Theatrical Release (Return to Neverland), Director of Animation for a Direct-to-Video including Annie award winner An Extremely Goofy Movie and Aladdin and the Prince of Thieves. He has also been Director of Animation for TV with several productions including Annie award winner, The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh.

Harrowell had involvement in the layout of scenes, character design, background artwork, storyboarding and scripting, and directing the animators with regard to the interpretation of their scenes. Harrowell has also held the position as Senior/Lead Animator on Lion King 2, Jungle Book 2, Tarzan 2, Bambi 2 and Cinderella 3.

Harrowell is an active member of his local Baptist Church involved in leadership in music and a home group. Through this involvement in the church and his daughter’s lives, he is constantly in touch with young people’s doubts, dreams and thoughts.

Married to Gina for 24 years, they have two daughters aged 23 and 13, and a grandaughter. His vision is to create a small studio who will just happen to make some of the best shows ever.
