Moving Word Pictures

About four years ago three men met to share a dream of bringing the greatest stories of the bible to life with animation in a edgy and relevant manner. On March 20th, 2006, Ian Harrowell, David Gibbons and Robert Molhoek agreed the dream was worth pursuing and Moving Word Pictures Limited was Incorporated.

The current corporate structure has the three founders as Directors. Part of the dream was to help kids around the world but most importantly the dream is to tell the greatest stories of the bible in a format that will have kids watching them over and over again.

Out of the dream the Heroes Christian Children Foundation has been formed so that there will always be a legacy of sharing and giving from future profits if the series is the success we hope it will be.

To ensure there will always be a Christian ethos and control the foundation (Heroes Christian Children Foundation) will always have a minimum of two directors on the board and will retain the right of veto over the appointment of the Chairman who must always come from the existing board and hold the casting vote.

The ultimate board, yet to be appointed will include the three founders or their representative, two directors by appointment of the shareholders and two from the foundation.

It’s our intention to operate mean and lean, utilising the latest 3D animation technology available employing a small but experienced and passionate team who will be based in low cost premises in the western suburbs of Sydney.

David Gibbons one of the founders will work part-time as Executive Director. Ian Harrowell will be the projects Creative Director and Producer. Robert Molhoek, chairman will oversee the financial aspects of the company until the project is well established and ultimately becomes self-sufficient.
